Abstract
Background: The pandemic (Covid-19) is taking the societies and businesses to their knees, crippling their core. The present pandemic addresses unprecedented challenges for livelihood of marginalized communities. In this paper, we want to assess socio-economic conditions of marginal citizens, their trust on information of Covid-19, acceptance and hesitance for vaccination.
Methods: This study adopted a quantitative methodology with a cross sectional approach. The sample population consisted 488 marginal citizens belong to three different districts (Jamshoro, Thatta and Dadu) from the province of Sindh. Semi-structure questionnaire was used with simple random sample technique. Data analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the frequency test and multivariate linear regression.
Findings and Results: Results reveal there is a negative impact on Covid-19 on livelihood of marginal citizens; their earnings were modified resultant a rise in working hours, poverty and unemployment. The demographical factors were found non-significant on information and acceptance of vaccine of Covid-19. Recommendations and
Conclusion: The issue of shortage of customers can be resolved through effective and efficient policies at bottom level. It is hoped that the concern institutes may carry out strategies in an efforts to make maximum output in acceptance of Covid-19 vaccines.
