Peer Review Process
International Journal of Politics, Law, and Management publishes articles based on the peer-review process. All submissions undergo anonymous peer-reviewing. IJPLM editorial staff will inform authors of the outcomes of the peer-review process.
The article submitted to the editors is initially assessed for compliance with the submission guidelines. If the article does not comply with the basic norms of submission guidelines, it is not sent for further consideration, and the authors are notified.
If the article complies with the submission guidelines, it is sent for the peer review process and the peer-review process is anonymous for reviewers as well as for the authors.
The review includes a general evaluation of the article’s quality, analysis of the methodology and tools, analytical and statistical foundations, key provisions, interpretation of findings, references strengths and weaknesses, and suggestions for improvement.
The review process might result in acceptance without any change, acceptance with a minor change, acceptance with a major change, or complete rejection.
The editorial board finalizes a publication based on the outcomes of the peer-review process.
If the review process accepts publication, the article will go for publication. The editorial staff informs the author regarding this.
If the review process rejects publication, the editorial board decides whether the article should be rejected or sent for further anonymous review.
If the review process recommends revisions, the article is returned to the author along with the review feedback for revision.
If the review process recommends revisions (minor or major), the author must revise the article as suggested to be considered for publication. The article will not be published unless it has been satisfactorily revised.
In any case, the author will be informed about the status of the submitted paper within 30 days. In case, if you didn’t get any response from our side, you can consider that we didn’t receive the paper.
The editorial board reserves the right not to publish the article based on the review process.
Once the research paper is accepted for publication, authors should submit the copyright and conflict of interest forms to the journal.
