Abstract
Democracy is the best form of Government- Robert. A. Dahl said Democracy provides opportunities for effective participation; Equality in voting; Gaining enlightened understanding; Exercising the final control over the agenda; Inclusions of agenda etc.-Greeks experimented with democratic political institutions-Where all people directly participated in the affairs of the state- India is one of the countries faced many challenges since its inception- Robert .A.Dahl says Democracy produces desired results-World itself witnesses tyrannical regime-Tyrannical regime violates the basic rights of the people so, people adopted and introduced the democratic system in the world-Indian Democracy succeeding by electing their representatives every five year-In recent days different types of controversies and conflicts arises which disrupts the democratic process in India. Citizenship amendment act; Abrogation of Article 370; Mandir and Masjid issues etc.
